Ran this morning.
Trying to workmy way back up to running more frequently and without stopping.
After hubby got back from his trip and all the kids (and me) were sick I had a hard time getting up to run…and it seemed the illness took a lot out of me! On Monday I only went 1 mile before going homeĀ - I actually would have walked a bit longer but I REALLY had to go to the bathroom and my bladder was hurting bad.
But this morning I went out and did about 1.5 miles before going home - because hubby needed to be leaving for work…Well, Friday I need to drag myself out of bed earlier and try to get a full run in - which may include some walking - right now I’m just trying to get out there!

Momma,
Just keep running. Whether it’s a mile or a full five or more, just keep running. This journey lasts not a week or a month or even a year, but a lifetime.
Just as you plan out your schedule for your children, their schooling, your husband and your family as a whole, schedule time for you and your workouts. Although, the people around you might not get wrapped up in your training, they will understand it and accept it as part of your identity.
My days and Alice’s days are packed with professional and family responsibilities, just as yours surely is, so what we try to do is get those workouts in at any opportunity. Personally, I prefer early mornings because I know at that time I am stealing nothing from anyone else. Plus, it is soooo peaceful early in the morning. And, if I wait until later in the day, it will never happen.
Motivation gets you started; habit keeps you going. Just keep running!
